Off to Astorga today where the Gaudi museum was a favourite. Still
time for a beer in the plaza to watch updates of the Geelong versus
Hawthorn game. We are starting to see familiar friendly pilgrim faces
after two days – more walking than biking but still plenty on bikes.
People do it all ways and a French group we met has one person take
turns to drive to each destination and walk back so no one carried
luggage. We are at a lovely ‘Casa rural’ tonight and shared the dinner
table with five women from Belgium who walk a section of the Camino each
year. Next year they will complete their journey after 5 years.
Volgend jaar aankomst in Santiago Compostela.
